About the Author:
Tom Buttram has served as Director of Missions for the outreach to Haiti begun by his father in 1964. Since his calling in '82, Tom has made over 100 trips to lead pastor conferences, establish churches, schools, and an orphanage. At home, he has taught college level Sunday School classes for 23 years, and twice served churches as interim pastor, and presently pastors a house church. He has written articles of faith for the “Gospel Tract Harvester” for 30 years; written weekly newspaper articles for over ten years, and from 2006 to 2015, served as Director of Gospel Tract Society. His love for nature, farming/ranching, flying and mechanics—have enabled him to relay the logic of the Gospel to the unbelieving and helped many see the nature of God in the nature of His Creation. Vocationally, Tom has taught as a speech therapist and school principal, owned and operated several businesses. Married to Shirley since 1969, they have two children, Justin and Emily and five grandchildren, to whom this work is dedicated.
