Intro to Straight Talk From Tom

These are challenging times, I don’t need to convince you of that, and there are a lot of voices out there, so many, that of all people, God’s Children seem to be the most confused.

One fifth of scripture is that of prophecy, it’s that important. For decades we have heard what some of our pastors and evangelists have said and some have even merchandised God’s Word so that our churches are well funded and our ears are tickled, but now we can and must know God’s Plan, but just as importantly—realize that we can understand, but we have to study.

Before we can know God’s Heart and have the joy of the knowledge of His Plan, we first must declare to ourselves that God’s Truth is our only goal.

Continued here from Pathways:

Because of the evil that is coming, the Apostle Paul said, And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thess. 2:11,12. To start our study; that ‘strong delusion‘ must be something we understand. First of all; does it seem that a loving God would trick His Creation into believing something false when His Word says that He is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.? 2 Peter 3:11. I see that strong delusion as a giant sieve; God’s desire is that all of Creation would love and worship Him, but He knows that if given choice and the strong lure of evil, (like the 1/3 fallen angels) many will cross or at least straddle the fence and what He is seeking is—true worshipers.

I have always been amazed that the FDA allows up to 4% rat feces in food grade wheat, and, understanding that, I understand the sieve: God will not heap His Eternal Rewards upon those who are laced with excrement. Those who believe a lie will possibly fall away because they are not grounded in Truth. I often refer to a quote by Albert Einstein, “Above all, question everything.” We also have always heard that if you say something long and often enough, people will believe it. I know that is true because people say, (I know one thing for sure!) but they are unable to validate that thing by Biblical reference. To test what I have said, find a Biblical reference for the Great Tribulation lasting seven years as we have always heard spoken as the truth. We must unravel deception in order for the many moving parts of this prophecy puzzle to mesh in harmony. Teachers of a seven-year tribulation refer to it as a proven thing, but in fact, it’s not Biblical. There is a seven year period that ends this age but it’s called The time of Jacobs Trouble. Within that time (the last half) is the Great Tribulation and it lasts for three and a half years. The time of Jacobs Trouble begins when the Antichrist signs a covenant of peace with Israel for seven years. The first half of that time is called a Time of Peace and Safety but ends prematurely as the covenant is broken by the Beast himself when he stands in the Holy Place and declares himself as god and curses the God of Heaven. This event is called: The Abomination of Desolation and is the beginning of the Great Tribulation which lasts for 42 months, 3 ½ yrs or 1260 days.

One reason why it is important to call things by their right name is so understanding fits smoothly. For example: We know that Satan is a great imitator, that he can only copy what has already been done. For example: The ministry of God’s Messiah on earth was 3 ½ years, 1260 days in length. His ministry began at the river when He was baptized by John the Baptist and ended with His ascent into Heaven. The ministry of death by Satan’s messiah, The Beast, also last’s exactly 3 ½ years, 1260 days.
